We have created this delicious Organic Almond Quinoa Breakfast Bowl to put a spring in your step this spring and in partnership with our friends @woolworths_au as part of their spring breakfast campaign! Head in store and pick up some ingredients to make your morning 👌
INGREDIENTS
2 1/2 cups (625ml) Australia’s Own Organic Almond Milk
1 1/2 cups (300g) Organic Quinoa, rinsed
1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
2 tablespoons honey
1 cup (280g) plain Greek-style yoghurt
½ cup fresh blueberries, or frozen blueberries
½ cup fresh strawberries or frozen strawberries
1/4 cup almonds, chopped
Honey, extra, to serve
METHOD
1. Place the quinoa in a medium saucepan with almond milk, cinnamon, honey. Place over a medium heat and bring to a simmer. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 12-14 mins or until most of the liquid is absorbed and the quinoa is soft.
2. Divide porridge among 4 bowls. Add a spoonful of yoghurt and top with blueberries, strawberries and chopped almonds and a swirl of honey to serve
